Referral and Commissioning

A simple and clear process for arranging support

How to Make a Referral

56_edited.jpg

Schools and local authorities can refer a learner using our short online referral form. It gives us the key information we need to understand the learner’s needs and begin planning support.

If you would like to talk things through before making a referral, you can book a discovery call or get in touch through our contact form.

We aim to respond within 24 hours.

What happens next...

Once we receive the referral, we confirm the details and keep communication simple. This may be by email or a Zoom meeting depending on what works best for your team.

We look at the learner’s needs and review any information you can share, such as EHCP sections, risk assessments or safeguarding details. We then identify a suitable specialist educator and create a closed schedule that reflects the agreed plan.

Before sessions begin, we send a Confirmation of Services for you to sign. We also ask for a named contact for safeguarding and invoicing. Once this is in place, we can usually begin within one to two weeks depending on availability.

Commissioning and Invoicing

We work flexibly with schools and local authorities. Once the Confirmation of Services is signed, we issue an invoice for the first month or half term. This can be directed to the school finance office or the appropriate local authority contact.

Session notes are recorded after every lesson and we can provide termly reports or summaries for reviews.

Our aim is to keep the process clear and efficient so support can begin without delay.
